Featuring the Kaiserball at the Hofburg Palace. Spend your New Years at the Kaiserball at the beautiful Hofburg Imperial Palace in Vienna. Welcomed by international guards, you will be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and the party will begin December 31 at 10pm. The New Year Gala of the Kaiserball begins in

the Festsaal at 11:45pm with the entry of members of the Imperial court. The New Year is rung in by the ringing of the Pummerin, the giant bell of St. Stephan's Cathedral, and a volley of shots from a rifling line. This is followed shortly after by the ballet ensemble and other musical performances, including a tour of Austrian operettas and the world's congress destinations.
